I am Dr.Kyaw Min Lwin, 43 years old, I came from Myanmar. I'm one of the Myanmar eye surgeons, 10th year experience. I was born in Ayawaddy division , about 70 miles away from Yangon. But I grew up in Yangon. I passed graduated high school in 1979. After that I studied at The Institute of Medicine(1) Yangon and had graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1989. In 1998, I got attained a Masters Degree in Ophthalmology. My wife is Daw Hnin Si. She is an assistance lecture assistant lecturer in Yangon Education collage college. We have three children. The elder one eldest child is a son, 11 years old. Also Our middle son is 5 years old, and our youngest one is a daughter, 3 years old. My family lives in Yangon. Now I work at Loikaw Hospital, 450 mikes miles far for from Yangon. Loikaw is situated in Eastern Myanmar. It's capital of Kaya State. In Myanmar, about 135 races live together. Kaya is one of the races of Myanmar. Loikaw is about 5000 feet above the sea level. It's The weather is cool like Japan. In Myanmar, cataract surgery is done by ECCE with IOL and PEA surgery is has been introduced recently. So we are trying to use this surgery. Thus, as for me, I'm very glad to get this chance. Especially, my gratitude goes to Dr.Yoshifumi Fujita and members of AJMMC for this training.
